Enquiry copies in Google
Enquiries and updates are saved to CRM first, then copied to the sheet. Edit statuses here; sheet edits do not sync back to CRM.
First connection to your folder
- Open Google Apps Script with the folder owner's account and create a new project.
- Replace the code with the contents of the ABEX_Sheets.gs file, save and run the function setup. Grant Drive and Sheets access. The script creates an ABEX enquiry sheet in the specified folder. The sheet inherits folder access; restrict it to authorised staff.
- In Project settings → Script properties, copy the value ABEX_SECRET. This key only writes enquiries. Enter it below; do not send it in chat.
- Select Deploy → New deployment → Web app. Execute as yourself; access: Anyone. Requests require a valid signature. Do not make the sheet public.
- Enter the web app URL ending in /exec and the secret below. Save, then select Check and sync.
If Google Workspace blocks public web apps, another authorisation method is needed. Do not change company restrictions for this setup.
Email notifications are not connected yet.
Team and outgoing email
The owner is CEO and approves offers and manages staff and email. Set enquiry, offer and CMS permissions in Users and permissions.

Use your corporate mailbox SMTP settings. Enter the app password only in this protected form; it is not displayed after saving. The connection uses TLS.
